Farewell 2012, you brought us many ups and downs. Tough decisions took place and this amazing community was born, wrzKO.

We would like to wish you happy new year and to thank our loyal visitors and commentators, 2013 will be epic, we promise!

Unfortunately, good old days are gone. 3rd party services are becoming unstable, there is nothing in our power we can do to keep specific links alive. Mirror links are there to be used if your primary choice is unavailable.

We have tried to overcome these barriers but there was no significant progress. Other websites of our kind are facing the exact same issue. There are few options we could apply but that would be too complicated for majority of the visitors. That being said, shot-term (30/90 days) premium access (of other filehosts we use) is recommended, everything else is gamble, that’s our honest advice.

No major and sudden changes will take place…however, we will have to adapt, eventually.

Update #3: It has been decided, protection for RS links will stay. In case you’re having issues with reCaptcha either your Antivirus or Adblock software is blocking the website or you are not typing in words correctly, set exception for SafeURL.me. Comments such as “reCaptcha/Password is not functional.” will be removed from now on. Both security measures (password and reCaptcha) have been tested and not a single issue occured.

This is the necessary adaptation we have talked about.

Update #1: We are experimenting with password encryption. Password in located right above the link and it’s same for SafeURL and RAR Archive. Try copy-pasting it (without the space) or type it in manually. We will keep you updated. Note: Only RS links are password protected to stop/slow down the deletion. It was either password protection or having a dead link after few hours.

By now you have most probably noticed that 1-Click links point to SafeURL. It was necessary, links would go offline within minutes/hours without link protection and something had to be done about it.

What you should know is that some download managers are not compatible with SafeURL links, yet. You could contact administration of download manager you’re using and request they add SafeURL, in the mean time you should access 1-Click links directly via browser or you can go with Mirror (Split) links.

Long awaited forum is coming very soon! Due to recent events, we constantly had to delay putting up the Forum, but now it’s our top priority.

As for TV Megaposts, unfortunately, some people decided to cheat and mass voted shows from random proxy servers. 2 Shows got suspended due to cheating. If this occur again voting will be closed and visitors won’t be able to vote. Please, play fair.

If you have tried to visit wrzKO in past 36 hours, you’ve probably noticed the temporary page. wrzKO has been under a DDoS attack and our host was forced to temporarily shut us down to avoid affecting other clients on the same switch. In other words, we were powerless. In the near future, we will be better equipped to investigate and attempt to twart such attacks. We will also be optimizing our services. Short downtimes will occur but there is no reason to panic now.

None the less, we like to look on the positive side of things. We are proud. The attack pretty much confirmed that we’re doing it right… that wrzKO isn’t just a typical website, but a competition and we’re getting bigger and stronger.

We’d like to inform you that we’re now running on a wrzKO.eu domain name and on our brand new dedicated server. Nothing else is changed, your bookmarked links will work perfectly.

Those who have been following us since the launch are aware how much we have improved over the last 30 days. Support we have received is mind-blowing and we sincerely appreciate it. It was a “speedy” launch indeed but we’re happy with how things turned out.
